Oh, how I will miss you Pete! You were a fine Professor, friend and mentor. I learned many fundamental lab best practices from your courses - including mouth pipetting, patience for titration, carbon copies of analysis notes (scientists don't keep neat and tidy notes, but transcription is a sin), and we even honed some excellent crawfish boil recipes, seasoning and timing. I'll never forget the ice chest trick you taught me at Jazz Fest in New Orleans - I used for many years. I love you and I can't wait to see you again at the Left Field Lounge in the sky.
