Obituary for Michael Edward Yeatman
We are sad to announce the passing of Michael Edward Yeatman of Starkville, Mississippi. He died at age 61 on August 14, 2023 after a sudden illness.
He is survived by his parents, Shelby and Jane Yeatman of McKinney, Texas, formerly of Starkville, Mississippi; his sister, Cindy Yeatman Delcambre of McKinney, Texas; his sister, Carrie Yeatman Hale of Melissa, Texas; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Michael was a kind and loving son, brother, uncle, and friend to all that knew him. He loved all things Mississippi State and was a loyal bulldog fan. Michael would give the last shirt off his back if it meant helping someone else. He had a wonderful heart and we will miss him dearly. We take comfort in knowing he is now in heaven and look forward to the day of reuniting with him.
A brief visit with the family can be shared between the hours of 1:00 pm-3:00 pm at the family home in Starkville on Saturday, August 19, 2023. Graveside services will be held Sunday, August 20, 2023, at 3:00 pm at Memorial Garden Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to make a donation to the Lung Cancer Foundation of America at https://rb.gy/3b5rq or to Mississippi State University Foundation at https://rb.gy/48ylp.
