Claude Denson Quinn, 78, passed away on November 28, 2022 at his residence in Starkville, MS. He was retired with the City of Starkville and a Air Force Vietnam Veteran. He also worked for Johnson Propane and Scott Petroleum. Claude was a MSU fan, a big hunter and fisherman in his younger days, loved the mountains and also loved spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren. He kept up with former Air Force friends over the years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Forest Claude Quinn and Savannah Coleman Quinn; son, Martin Christopher Quinn; his sister Martha Jane Loney.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Dyane Martin Quinn of Starkville, MS; sons, Bryan Kelly Quinn of Sturgis, MS and Keith Alan Quinn (fiancé, Chelsie Coleman) of Starkville, MS; grandchildren, Dawson Quinn and Kayleigh Nicole Grace Quinn; and nephew, Forrest Loney.

Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, December 1, 2022 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville, MS. The funeral service is scheduled for Friday, December 2, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Friendship Baptist Church in Sturgis, MS. Burial will be in Big Creek Methodist Cemetery in Sturgis.
