Jim Britt, 66, passed away on March 29, 2018 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus, MS. He was the first 911 EMA Director of Oktibbeha County.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Jean Britt.

He is survived by his wife, Emily Britt of Starkville, MS; sons, Dustin Sims and Brandon Sims, both of Greensboro, AL; seven grandchildren; sisters, Karen Britt of Kilmichael, MS and Gayle Brown of Macon, MS; and brother, Jerry Britt of Macon, MS.

Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, April 4, 2018 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville, MS.
