Belva Mae Logeston, 96, of Mathiston, MS., formerly of Eagle Rock, VA, died Sunday at Vickers Personal Care Home. She had many friends and blessed caretakers there.
She was born April 25, 1921, in Chaneysville, PA, a daughter of the late Elwood and Rhoda (Imes) O’Neal.
On Nov. 27, 1946, she married Edward H. Logeston in Cumberland, MD.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Edward and Kimberly Logeston of Starkville, MS; daughter, Elaine Mae Bild, of Berkeley, CA.; granddaughters, Kaylee Logeston of Warren, RI, and Kathleen Logeston of Cleveland, MS.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edward H. and siblings, Ralph and Leroy O’Neal, Ruth Mountain, Lyda Jay, and Dorothy O’Neal.
Mrs. Logeston lived many years in Hillsborough, NJ and retired there as a bookkeeper with John Wiley & Sons Publishers. She retired to Eagle Rock, Virginia, with her husband and son in 1983. She was a member of the Eagle Rock United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be Saturday, January 20, 2018, at the Dalla Valle Funeral Chapel, Main Street, Everett, Pa. Friends will be received an hour before services at the funeral home. She will be buried next to her beloved husband in the Everett Cemetery.
