John Reid Morris, husband of the late Linda Morris, passed away on December 7, 2017.

Mr. Morris is survived by two sons, Bryon Morris of Starkville, MS and Christopher (Amanda) Morris and two grandchildren, Kayla and Colin Morris of Cumberland, MS.

Mr. Morris was a decorated Marine veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Vietnam Veterans of America, and Disabled American Veterans, having served as a former District Commander of the VFW and Post Commander of the American Legion. He was the son of the late B. F. (Bunk) and Frances Morris of Walhalla. Mr. Morris retired from the U.S. Military and the U.S. Postal Service.

He will be interred in a private ceremony with full Military Honors.
