Thurman Gene (The Green Man) Pellum, Age 89, of Starkville, MS, passed away on
July 11, 2017. Mr. Pellum was a Mississippi State University retiree and loved to grow his "Greens".

He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Eddie Maurice Pellum.

He is survived by his sons, Hollie Pellum and wife Dawn of Starkville MS and Doug Pellum and wife Stephanie of Starkville, MS; daughter, Debbie Shaffer and husband Kim of Starkville, MS; 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; brother, Thurston (Buddy) Pellum of Clarksdale, MS; and nieces and nephews.

Visitation will held Friday, July 14, 2017 at Longview Baptist Church from 10:00-12:00, and a memorial service will immediately follow. Burial will be in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.
