Faye Gwen Smith Weining, age 86, passed way at her residence in Starkville, MS on June 3, 2017. Faye was a lifelong member on the Starkville Church of Christ. She graduated from David Lipscomb College in 1952. Faye worked as a music teacher, office manager for Garrard Motor Company and Garrard Transfer Company, and as a bookkeeper at the MSU Enology Lab. Faye loved to play the piano, play Rook, travel, as well as her family gatherings.

Faye is survived by her husband of 44 years, Bob Weining; daughter, Gwen Garrard; son, Jim Garrard and wife Emily, and daughter, Amy Garrard Woodward and her husband Larry; grandchildren, Amy Lynn Smith, Jimmy Franks, Jimbo Garrard, Natalie Hall, Charles Neese, Susie LaBombard, and Casey Woodward; sister Nell Egli and her husband Gene; twelve great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents, B.E. Smith and Gwendolyn Bruce Smith.
