Clois Ann Vaughan Fisher, 77, passed away on March 22, 2017 at OCH Regional Medical Center in Starkville, MS. She was retired from Lockport Felt. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved being outdoors working in her flower beds, and feeding her birds.

She was preceded in death by her parents, L. E. Vaughan and Lillie Mae Warrington Vaughan; her step-mother, Vera Vaughan; and a brother, Billy Vaughan.

She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Truman Fisher of Maben, MS; children, Deniece Fowler of Water Valley, MS, Randy Wofford of Starkville, MS, Reggie Wofford of Jemison, AL, Ronnie Wofford and wife Jennifer of Starkville, MS, Joe Wofford and wife Lisa of Village Mills, TX, Rhonda Cornelius and husband Tom of Maben, MS, Carolyn Hawkins of Memphis, TN, Jeanette Owen and husband Don of Eddyville, KY, Lisa Wood and husband Len of Memphis, TN, and Kim Kaufman and husband Larry of Fyffe, AL; sisters, Virginia Fondren of Starkville, MS, Corinne Peacock of Mathiston, MS, Belinda Hyde of West Point, MS; brothers, Glenn Vaughan of Mathiston, MS, and Darell Vaughan of Maben, MS; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled for Friday, March 24, 2017 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville, MS, with the funeral service immediately following in the funeral home chapel. Rev. Clifton Curtis will conduct the service. Burial will be in Spring Valley Cemetery in Mathiston, MS.
