Eddie Roger Noble, 72, of Starkville, formerly Jackson and Brandon, died Wednesday, February 23, 2017, at Oktibbeha County Hospital in Starkville, MS. A Memorial Service for Eddie will be held in Pelahatchie, MS at 306 North Brooks Street on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 10:00 a.m.

Born on May 31, 1944, Eddie was a well-known musician in the Jackson area. A singer, guitar and bass player, he performed in many nightclubs, casinos, and as a member of orchestras for musicals such as “A Chorus Line,” “Jesus Christ Super Star,” “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat,” and “Big River” in Jackson, Vicksburg, and Hattiesburg. In addition, Eddie traveled with the Les Elgart Big Band on the Mississippi Queen and the American Queen Riverboat tours. As the owner of Noble’s Piano Service, Eddie tuned, refinished, and restored many home and church pianos throughout Mississippi. As much as he loved music, he really enjoyed riding motorcycles and restoring old cars. He especially enjoyed getting the chance to watch his son Michael race a car in Pensacola.

Eddie is survived by his wife, Emily, daughter, Marilyn Graves (Jeff) Buena Vista, Colorado; son, Michael Couture (Regina); Pensacola, daughter, Sharon Kay Diamond (Jack); Pensacola, his grandchildren, CeCe Graves, Michael Jr,(Kaleigh), Joshua (Samantha), Courtney Sanders, Niki Diamond, Brandy Booth, and 10 great- grandchildren, his sister, Paula Lentz (Clarence) nieces Paula Mann, Kelley Smith, Jennifer Parrett, and nephew, Jason Parrish.

Eddie is preceded in death by his sister, Bootsie Bridges; his mother Boots Ward, and his father Roger Noble.
