Ray Hubert Wolf, 83, passed away on January 24, 2017 at his residence in Starkville, MS. He was a retired equipment operator with Oktibbeha County Road Services. He loved the outdoors. He loved hunting, trapping, and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George Robert Wolf and Arie Elizabeth Roach Wolf; his wife, Willard Wolf; son, Wade Wolf; one sister and 8 brothers.

He is survived by his daughter-in-law, Susan Howell Wolf; granddaughter, Michelle Ellis(Tim); and great granddaughters, Emma, Anna, & Karly Ellis.

Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, January 26, 2017 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville, MS and on January 27, 2017 from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at Friendship Baptist Church in Sturgis with the funeral immediately following. Rev. Tim Buchanan and Rev. Dan Robertson will conduct the service. Burial will be in Craig Springs Cemetery in Sturgis.
