Mrs. Kathy R. Edwards, 50, of Sturgis, MS; passed away on Monday, December 3, 2012.

She was a graduate of Mississippi State University in 1989 and earned her nursing degree.

She is survived by her husband, Randolph Scott Edwards of Sturgis, MS; her father, Rev. Preston Bledsoe (Valetta) of Paducah, Kentucky; daughter, Tracy Davidson of Maben, MS; sons Trent Davidson of Maben, MS; and Joshua P. Davidson of Maben and 3 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Kelly Bledsoe; 2 brothers and 1 sister.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 7, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville.
